So so so fun. Just fantastic, ripped my heart open and put it back together. Charmingly Canadian, feminist 'regency'-style romance. I wouldn't say The Midnight Bargain is the kind of book that will stay with you forever, but it's the perfect pandemic read, with a happy ending that empowers rather than sunsetting the story. If there's a sequel, I'll read it!
